The University of Florence has 12 faculties that develop the various undergraduate degrees and postgraduate programmes of the university.
University of Florence Faculties: Faculty of Agriculture - Florence, Tuscany, Italy
The Faculty of Agriculture is located in front of the Parco delle Cascine. It is the very first forestry school to exist in Italy, which was first named as the Instituto Forestale di Vallombrosa. It offers nine courses including Agrarian Botany and Forestry, Agrarian Economy and Territorial Resources, and Agrarian Engineering of Forests.
University of Florence Faculties: Faculty of Architecture - Florence, Tuscany, Italy
The Faculty of Architecture is located in the Accademia di Belle Arti where Michelangelo's David is displayed. It began as a special course in the Academy of Fine Arts in 1907. The scientific technique and historical critic of architecture is one of the degree programmes it offers.

The Faculty of Economy is located in the Polo delle Scienze Sociali campus along with the Faculty of Political Sciences and the Faculty of Law. It offers eight degree programmes on economics and public service.
